Digital Scanning
All artwork in the Dagara Collection is sourced from original paintings created by our featured Dagara artist Mr. Traore Oumarou, primarily acrylic paint on lightweight canvas and other natural fiber textiles. The highest quality fine art digital scanning technology was utilized to digitize the artwork into high resolution images, all artwork was scanned professionally by a leading fine art graphics and printing studio in Oakland, California, USA. Where possible, digital scanning captured the natural edge of the canvas, and professional background removal processing was utilized to represent the most authentic edge-to-edge artwork image possible.
